Now you have seen the many parts of the Standard Model Theory. It is the most complete explanation of the fundamental particles and interactions at this time. To summarize, physicists believe they can explain all observed types of matter with six types of quarks and six types of leptons. They attribute all observed forces to four fundamental forces, each of which has associated carrier particles.

The Standard Model also includes the quantum theories of strong interactions (Quantum chromodynamics, or QCD), and of the unified electroweak interactions (weak and electromagnetic, QED). It is not yet known how to make a quantum theory of gravitation.

You are at the end of the Standard Model Path; but, don't lose heart! You have seen only the conceptual results of this very mathematical theory; it is now necessary to explore the experimental evidence that physicists have gathered in support of theory. It is time to explore the Experimental Evidence Path!
